Solo Travel in Southern China 2018-2019
I've decided I would like to make this area in Southern China my "home base" for a while.
But, like most travelers that have been bitten by the travel bug.. it's hard for me to stay in one place for too long.
Here are some of my experiences while spending then end of 2018 and beginning of 2019 in Guangxi China, and exploring the neighboring provinces.

In this video we take a high speed train from mainland China to Hong Kong, via one of China's newest bullet trains. Oh, and we will travel in Business class to see what the nicest option is, because it's nice to travel in high class once in a while right?

me to try out one of the local specialty dishes here in Nanning Guangxi China; Pig brains and duck blood. It tastes better than it sounds!

We took a short trip to the neighboring city of Liuzhou here in Guangxi China, and thought it would be fun to walk around the edge of a 76 story skyscraper.
It was a pretty intense experience, and I could not have been more impressed with the professional operation they have there.

Were back trying out some local food dishes, but this time we get to see the whole process from preparing the snake to eating it. It was definitely interesting to watch them prepare it, and even better to get to taste it! It was surprisingly good and I can easily recommend trying snake if you ever get a chance!
Hopping over to Shenzhen, Guangdong China, we take a factory tour with a large factory called OTravel, who manufacture travel power adapters at a local factory. It was a really interesting experience to see the travel chargers made from start to finish, and really impressive to see their operation.
